Robert Wright Smiths Station, Alabama . . . Robert Wright passed away Friday, November 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Wright, the son of the late Clifford and Nancy McDaniel Wright was born March 12, 1940. He was employed with Local 926 in Atlanta. Survivors include his children, Robert Clifford Wright of Smiths Station, Alabama, John Avery (Trudy) Wright of Cartersville, Georgia, James Matthew (Sommer) Wright of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Judith Wright of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brother, Raymond (Ann) Wright of Phoenix City, Alabama; grandchildren, Michelle DeOrio, Ella Wright, Kaylen Wright, Julianna Wright, John Avery Wright, II, Autum Wright, Dylan Wright, Chauncey Tanner, Veronica Tanner and Alex Tanner; great grandchild, Devin DeOrio. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
