Donald Eugene Chandler Forsyth . . . Donald Eugene Chandler passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014. A Memorial Service for Mr. Chandler will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Chandler, the son of the late Alan and Ruth Magdalene Kelley Chandler, was born August 12, 1945, in Columbus, Georgia. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. Survivors include his wife, Candice Chandler of Forsyth; children, Angie Roberts of Thomaston, Regina Young of Jackson and Krystal Chandler of Forsyth; sisters, Willie Ann Ivey of Forsyth, Clara Smith of Forsyth and Sally Ghent of Columbus; and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
