Janice Faith Murray Kunzelmann

Janice Faith Murray Kunzelmann May 30, 1937 -- October 16, 2014 Macon GA -- Jan Murray Kunzelmann, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 16, 2014. A celebration of life will be held at 4pm, Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Pine Pointe Hospice Chapel in Macon. Jan was born and raised in Columbus, Ga. After an absence from Georgia, she returned in 1983 having received her bachelor's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Duke University. She practiced anesthesia in Bibb, Forsyth and other surrounding counties for nearly 25 years, retiring in 2007. Her passion for gardening continued in retirement, as did her devotion to bible study. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Doris Cobb Murray and Joseph Algie Murray. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Robert L. Murray of Columbus, Ga.; three children: her son Brian Kunzelmann of Macon and her two daughters, Janil Miller and Pam Hopkins of North Carolina; and five grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
