Jesse Manson Clance, Jr. Macon . . . Jesse Manson Clance, Jr. passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Bridges of Hope Restoration Pentecostal Church, 354 Big Oak Road, Macon, Georgia. Burial will follow in New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery, 893 New Haven Road, Gordon, Georgia. Reverend Loretta Faulk and Reverend Sam Loyd will officiate. The body will lie in state and visitation will be held at the residence of Kathy and Cliff Hendrix, 3368 Masseyville Road, Macon, Georgia 31217. Mr. Clance, the son of the late Jesse Manson Clance, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Stokes Clance was born March 25, 1943, in Twiggs County, Georgia. His daughter, Aretta Lynn Smith, his brothers, Jack Clance and Ray Clance, his sisters, Ruby Jean Loyd and Sara Ann Purser preceded him in death. He was retired from Dry Branch Kaolin and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Clance was a member of Bridges of Hope Restoration Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Patricia Smallwood Clance of Macon; children, Jesse M. (Tiffany) Clance, III of Rome, Michelle (Chris) Faulkner of Jones County and Kathy (Cliff) Hendrix of Macon; brother, Jerry (Judy) Clance of Macon; sisters, Mary (Troy) Goodwin of Macon, Nellie Parker of Macon and Pearlie Simmons of Twiggs County; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
