Gerald Andrew “Buck” Jackson Juliette . . . Gerald Andrew “Buck” Jackson passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Floyd Hunnicutt will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Buck, the son of the late Joseph Samuel Jackson and Georgia Wilkes Jackson was born January 12, 1942, in Juliette, Georgia. His wife, Carol Sue Short Jackson preceded him in death. He was retired owner and operator of Jackson Logging Company. Survivors include his children, Jeff Jackson of Juliette and Rhonda Jackson of Dublin; sisters, Wylene Corbett of Jacksonville, Florida and Dianne Johnson of Flovilla; brother, Tommy (Lena) Jackson of Juliette; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Post Office Box 250, Juliette, GA 31046. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
