Harry Davis “HD” Hall
Culloden . . . Harry Davis “HD” Hall passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Forsyth United Methodist Church with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Davis, the son of the late Nathan Elbert Hall and Sara Virginia Barnes Hall was born July 3, 1951, in Worth County, Georgia. He retired from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, after twenty-five years of service. After his retirement he opened and managed 1899 Collectable Classics Flea Market on Adams Street.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Hall of Culloden; children, Amy Brookins of Cumming and Erin (Chris) Campbell of Dahlonega; stepchildren, Jason Woolsey of Monroe County and Ranee (Brett) Tompkins of Pell City, Alabama; sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Smith of Jasper, Florida and Martha Robinson of Tifton; brother, Nathan Hall of San Francisco, California and ten grandchildren.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
