Robert Ogles Taylor Macon . . . Robert Ogles Taylor passed away Friday, May 23, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at 151 Woodfield Drive, Macon, GA 31210 and also a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 6611 Zebulon Road, Macon, GA 31220. Reverend Matt Brown will officiate Mr. Taylor was born July 19, 1957, in Hawkinsville, Georgia. His mother, Shirley Ogles Taylor and his brother, Darren Taylor preceded him in death. He was a 1975 graduate of Northside High School and was a commercial truck driver for twenty years. Mr. Taylor enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing and loved the Ga Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. Survivors include his father, Robert C. Taylor of Warner Robins, brother, Wendell Taylor of Warner Robins, sisters, Teresa (Mike) Railey of Macon, Shirl Taylor of Olean, New York and Gena (Greg) Davis of Macon, several nieces and nephews. The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to their favorite charity. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
