Ruby Vera Moon Forsyth . . . Ruby Vera Moon passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014, at Second Baptist Church with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. Reverend Danny Parker, Reverend Ricky Niblett and Reverend Marty Helms will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Moon, the daughter of the late William Robert Martin and Clifford Weaver Martin was born June 15, 1916, in Jackson, Georgia. Her husband, John Will Moon and her daughter, Laverne Moon Williams preceded her in death. She retired from Trio Manufacturing as the oldest living employee and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Elia Dittman of Macon and Tommy (JoAnn) Moon of Juliette, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations to Second Baptist Church, Post Office Box 5905, Forsyth, Ga 31029. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
