Joseph Oliver “Papa Joe” Bucha    Macon/ Juliette . . . Joseph Oliver “Papa Joe” Bucha passed away Friday, March 28, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30, 2014, at High Falls Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Joseph O. Bucha, Jr. will officiate. The family will greet family and friends following the service at the church.  Mr. Bucha, the son of the late Vaslav and Katherine Bucha was born April 24, 1921, in Chicago Illinois. He was a Pattern Maker and a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II. His daughter, Kathryn Bernice Vaughn preceded him in death.  Survivors include his children, Michel Joe Bucha and Joseph O. Bucha, Jr., grandchildren, Victoria Bray, Gary Michael Vaughn, Seth Bucha, Erin Sabrin, Betsy Boswell and Cooper Bucha, great grandchildren, Clint Brown, Derek Bray, Katie Riemerschneider, Mason Vaughn and Gracie Vaughn, great great grandchildren, Blake Riemerschneider, Mackenzie Bray, Aubrey Bray, Chase Boswell and Atlas Bucha.  The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to High Falls Baptist Church, 4408 High Falls Road, Jackson, GA 30233 Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
