Forsyth . . . Judy French Smith passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Maynard Baptist Church. Burial will be private. Reverend Brian Moore will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
Mrs. Smith, the daughter of the late Curtis Monroe French and Janet Wilbanks French was born January 9, 1945, in Macon, Georgia. She was a retired seamstress.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Smith of Forsyth, son, Carlton Hill (Melissa) Culpepper, Jr. of Peachtree Corners, stepdaughter, Dana Lynn McCoy of Newnan, step granddaughter, Callie Rose McCoy, sisters, Peggi French (Kenneth) Horn of Bainbridge and Phyllis French (Rev. Renfroe) Watson of Forsyth, brother, Jon (Wanda) French of Culloden, several nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
