Hentern “Max” Burson
Forsyth . . . Hentern “Max” Burson passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Monroe Memorial Gardens. Reverend Eric Byrd will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Burson, the son of the late William Buford Burson and Carrie Belle Crider Burson was born May 30, 1925, in Heard County, Georgia. His wife, Evelyn Deloris Burson preceded him in death. He was retired from Brown Transport and was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Burson graduated magna cum laude from Woodrow Wilson School of Law. He was a master gardener and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his children, Robin Evers of Acworth, Amy Davis of Jackson and Holly Dribnak of College Park, sister, Sarah Watson of Union City, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
