Fannie Ruth Sikes Forsyth . . . Fannie Ruth Sikes passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 10:00 a.m., until service time at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Sikes, the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Toole and Mittie Ann Driskell Toole was born August 7, 1927, in Forsyth, Georgia. She was retired from Carter’s. Survivors include her husband, Olen Sikes of Forsyth, children, Ray (Margaret) Edge of Griffin, Carol Ann Herbert of Forsyth, Wayne (Robin) Edge of Sandersville, Ronnie (Judy) Edge of Forsyth and Steven (Regina) Sikes of Forsyth, brother, Junior Toole of Forsyth, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
