VIEW TRIBUTEMichael Judson “Jud” Kingsley Covington . . . Michael Judson “Jud” Kingsley passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, following an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Maynard Baptist Church, 1195 Juliette Road, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens, Hwy 341, Barnesville, Georgia 30204. Reverend Ben Pruett will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, 86 West Main Street, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. Jud was born June 14, 1977, in Griffin, Georgia. He was employed with Chamber Tile and Marble. Jud was a bass guitar player for the Matt Pippin Band and he also played at his church. Survivors include his companion, Jodie Myers of Covington, mother and step-father, Vickie and Fray Holland of Hampton, father and step-mother, Scott M. and Suzanne Kingsley, Sr. of Acworth, brothers, Scott M. Kingsley, Jr. of Bonaire and Ryan Kingsley of Acworth, sister, Rachel Kingsley of Marietta, step-brothers, Lurdis (Kathleen) Holland, Jr. of Hampton, Michael Jason Holland of Atlanta and Jeffrey (Wendy) Holland of Banks, Oregon. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
