Reverend Johnny O. Baswell Flovilla . . . Reverend Johnny O. Baswell passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2014, at First Baptist Church. Burial will be private. Dr. H. Darrell Watson will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church. Mr. Baswell, the son of the late John Baswell and Beatrice Coonfare Baswell, was born December 29, 1950, in Gary, Indiana. He was an ordained minister and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his children, Allene (Brooks) Baswell of Cedar Lake, Indiana and Adam (Christy) Baswell of Flovilla, brother, Dale (Laurie) Baswell of Demotte, Indiana, sister, Beverley Morgan of Knox, Indiana, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
