Chris Derek Walker, Sr. Forsyth . . . . . . Chris D. Walker, Sr., 59, died Wednesday December 25, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2013, at Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Eric Byrd will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Mr. Walker was born in Macon, Georgia, the son of Samuel B.C. Walker and Sara Agnes Martin Walker. He attended Monroe County schools and was in the logging and trucking business for many years. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Walker, daughter, Candace Walker of Forsyth, son, Chris D. Walker Jr. of Marietta, Ohio, 2 grandchildren, brother, Michael Walker of Macon, a nephew and 2 nieces. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
