Alma Martin Harper Forsyth . . . Alma Martin Harper passed away Friday, December 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013, at New Beginning Church of Forsyth with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens. Reverend Bill Todd and Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Harper, the daughter of the late Samuel Thomas Martin, Sr. and Jewel James Martin was born October 9, 1923, in Forsyth, Georgia. Her husband, William Melvin Harper, preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her children, Anita Wyatt of Hinesville, Janice (Steve) Rogers of Forsyth and Wayne (Tina) Harper of Forsyth, sisters, Kathryn Daniel of Thomaston and Brenda (Carl) Apperson of Norman Park, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
