Bettie Jean Wells Monroe . . . Bettie Jean Wells passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, 86 West Main Street, Forsyth, Georgia 31029, with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Reverend Ted Keen will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Ms. Wells, the daughter of the late Ernest Columbus Driskell and Eunice Ivey Driskell was born November 14, 1934, in Forsyth, Georgia. She was retired from Herman Miller Company. Survivors include her children, Vickie Terrell of Lawrenceville, Wanda Flournoy of Social Circle, Jackie (Steve) Matonak of Monroe and Jack Wells, Jr. of Monroe, brothers, Ernest Driskell of Gainesville and Smitty (Dorothy) Driskell of Forsyth and four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to donor’s favorite charity. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements
