Reverend Euel Hugh “Doc” Henderson Forsyth . . . Reverend Euel Hugh “Doc” Henderson passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013, at High Falls Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Hugh Burdette and Reverend Jeff Giddens will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service at 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the graveside. Mr. Henderson, the son of the late Ben Wheeler Henderson and Mary Ophelia Thompson Henderson was born November 27, 1939, in Ft. Payne, Alabama. He was a veteran of the United States Army, was self-employed as a barber and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joann Henderson, children, Allen (Sherrill) Henderson, Kenneth (Becky) Henderson and Angie Henderson all of Forsyth, sisters, Faye Sharp of Fayetteville , Martha Elrod of Griffin and Hilda Steedley of Ft. Payne, Alabama, brothers, Hoyt Henderson of Fayetteville and Eddie Henderson of Newnan, fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
