Raleigh Edward “Ed” Weaver Forsyth . . . Raleigh Edward “Ed” Weaver passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Warwick United Methodist Church Cemetery, 199 Magnolia Street, Warwick, Georgia 31790. Reverend Eric Byrd will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Weaver, the son of the late Raleigh Dusha Weaver and Ruby Pope Weaver, was born April 18, 1941, in Marion County, Georgia. He retired from Georgia Power Company after thirty-one years of service. Survivors include his wife, Anita Smith Weaver of Forsyth, son, Craig (Barbara) Weaver of Lizella, sisters, Louise Tyler of Columbus, Lorraine West of Milledgeville, Nell Owens of Ellaville, Jeanette (Bobby) Icard of Tazewell and Beverly (Steve) Hudson of Colorado, brother, Harold (Lynne) Weaver of Chattanooga, Tennessee, grandchildren, Ben Smith of Lizella and Ryan Smith of Alpharetta. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Southern Care, Inc., 5233 Riverside Drive, Suite B, Macon, GA 31210. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
