Geneva Patricia Jones Jones County . . . Geneva Patricia Jones passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 5455 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Macon, GA 31216, with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Franklin Etheridge and Reverend Lee Griffin will officiate. The family will greet friends at the church Friday from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of the service. Mrs. Jones, the daughter of the late Carroll Moore, Sr. and Nina Mae Herrin Moore was born September 25, 1941, in Macon, Georgia. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Aubria Jones of Jones County, children, Ann Thompson of Forsyth, Faye Hood of Egypt, Brenda (Roger) Adams of Powder Springs, Gus Jones of Jones County, Randall Jones of Jones County and Sonny (Dianne) Stephens of Leesburg, sisters, Mary (Jerry) Houseguard of Aiken, South Carolina and Linda Beasley of Crawford County, brothers, Carroll Moore, Jr. of Macon and Steve Moore of Jones County, nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201, or to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
