Thomas Alan Jones Macon . . . Thomas Alan Jones passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013, following an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Reverend Scott Harrell will officiate. The family will greet friends Sunday, September 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., until the hour of the service at the church. Alan was born March 21, 1966, in Forsyth, Georgia. He was employed with GEICO and was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sharon T. Jones of Macon, son, Gabriel Jones of Macon, parents, Wayne and Joyce Jones of Forsyth, sister, Lynn (Scott) Harrell of Forsyth, in-laws, Mike and Judy Thomas of Forsyth. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the Gabriel Thomas Jones, c/o BB&T, 101 North Lee Street, Forsyth, GA 31029, to be used for his education.
