Hembree Ligon Brown Smarr . . . Hembree Ligon Brown died Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Services and burial will be private. Mr. Brown, the son of the late Joel Waller Brown and Grace Ligon Brown was born February 23, 1940, in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was owner and operator of Brown’s Electric. Mr. Brown was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Bonny Brown of Smarr, children, Toni Parker of Forsyth and Tab Tillman of Warner Robins, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
