Timothy William Bowen, Sr. High Falls . . . Timothy William Bowen, Sr. died Monday, September 9, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private. The Reverend Mark Grinstead will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel and the family will also greet friends at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2013, until the hour of the funeral at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Bowen was born November 1, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia. His father, Charles Donald Bowen and his son, Timothy William Bowen, Jr. preceded him in death. He was owner and operator of a home repair company. Survivors include his companion, Deborah Smith of Jackson, mother, Sue Bowen of High Falls, brothers, Charles Edward (Cindy) Bowen of Forsyth, Donald Lamar Bowen of High Falls and Allen Bowen of Suwanee, Georgia, sisters, Valena Bowen of Jackson and Andrea (Bobby) House of Jackson, several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Rock Springs Baptist Church Clinic, 219 Rock Springs Road, Milner, GA 30257. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
