Agnes Wilson Griffin Forsyth . . . Agnes Wilson Griffin died Thursday, August 22, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Griffin, the daughter of the late JB Gordon Wilson, Sr. and Emma Jewel Frazier Wilson, was born August 4, 1917, in Juliette, Georgia. Her husband, Isaac Marcus Griffin, Jr. and her son, Kenneth Marcus Griffin preceded her in death. She was retired from William Carter Company. Survivors include her children, Vicki G. Joiner and Cathy M. Griffin of Ponte Vedra, Florida, daughter-in-law Mable Gose Griffin of Macon, grandson, Mark (Katie) Griffin of Macon, great grandchildren, Collier Griffin and Natalie Griffin. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of the Oaks at Peake for their love and care of our Mother. We would also like to express our appreciation for the support of United Hospice.
