William Joseph Krysak, Sr. Macon . . William Joseph Krysak, Sr., 82 of Macon, Georgia passed away on August 15, 2013. William was born in New Geneva, Pennsylvania 26 July 1931. He gave over 20 years of service in the U.S. Army, serving with honour in Korea and Vietnam. Additionally, William, “the Rock” faithfully raised six children with his wife of 57 years, Ruth Z. Krysak. Loving memories of his fatherhood and work ethic will be cherished by his loving wife, their six children; William Krysak Jr. and wife Susan and nephew Alex Davis of Columbus; John Krysak and wife Lynda and their children Maggi and Ballard of Columbus; James Krysak and wife Debbie and step-son Ryan of Bolingbroke; Kathy Krysak Brown and her husband Devon and daughter Heather; Judy Tew Krysak and her husband Larry and daughters Kimberly and Kayla; and youngest daughter Diana Krysak Hall and her husband Dudley and son Hunter. Additionally, he is survived by his sister Mary Pelligreni and many nieces and nephews in the Uniontown, Pennsylvania area. Funeral services will be conducted at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, Georgia, August 19th, 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.org. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
