Joel Frank Mickle Macon . . . Joel Frank Mickle, 55, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at New Haven Baptist Church, 893 New Haven Church Road, Gordon. GA. Pastor Sam Lloyd will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013, at 608 Windsong Way Court, Macon, GA 31217. Mr. Mickle was born in Macon and was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. James E. Mickle, Sr. Mr. Mickle worked at various dealerships as a service advisor over the last 30 years, with his last employment being at Butler Lexus. In his spare time he was an avid hunter and fisherman and shared a love of classic cars and motorcycles. Mr. Mickle is survived by his children, Jennifer Mickle of Gray, Melanie (Charlie) Wright of Macon and Chris Mickle of Savannah. Mr. Mickle has one granddaughter, Ava Grace Mickle -Wood. He is also survived by his sister, Nell Ikner of Macon, brothers, Jimmy (Beverly) Mickle of Bolingbroke and Phillip (Karyn) Mickle of Dublin, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, special friend Mickey Fowler and beloved ex-wife, Lynne Mickle-Kehaya. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. The family may be contacted at 608 Windsong Way Court, Macon, GA 31217.
