Zion United Methodist Church, 40 Rumble Road, Smarr, Georgia, with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. The Reverend Liza Marler will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Lundy, the daughter of the late Douglas Newton Roquemore and Sara Myrtle Pippin Roquemore, was born March 1, 1940, in Forsyth, Georgia. Her husband, Larry Phillip Lundy preceded her in death. She was 1958 graduate of Mary Persons High School and a 1963 graduate of Tift College. Mrs. Lundy was previously employed as an elementary school teacher and was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Leslie (Joe) Phillips of Forsyth and Janet (Scott) Massey of Covington, sister, Lillian (Eddie) Bowden of Smarr, grandchildren, Joshua Lundy, Brooke McQueen, Madison McQueen and Luke Massey, great grandchild, Kobi Lundy, many nieces, nephews and cousins.Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, PO Box 261, Smarr, Georgia 31086. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
