Tommy Lynn Morris Haddock…..Tommy Lynn Morris died peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Friday, June 21, 2013. A Celebration of His Life will be held Sunday, June 23rd at 614 Plantation Rd., Gray, Ga. at 4:00 pm. Born in Paris, Texas on March 31, 1948, Tommy was the son of the late JD and Laverne Carroll Morris. He was retired from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Department and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam from Mar. 31, 1969- Mar. 22, 1970. Tommy was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Morris Roughton. Survivors include his sisters, Ann (Ralph) Fleming and Margie (Ken) Sheffield of Macon, and June (Warren) Moncrief of Gray; son-in-law Loye Roughton of Haddock; numerous nieces and nephews and a large, loving extended family. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
