Charles Robert Nutting, Sr. Macon . . . . Charles Robert Nutting, Sr., of Macon passed away June 4, 2013 at his home. Services and burial will be private. Charlie was born July 6, 1946, to George Glover and Emily Head Nutting. He attended Lanier High School and after serving in the U S Army in Vietnam and Germany, attended Florida Institute of Technology. He was a member of the U S Coast Guard Auxiliary in Brunswick, Georgia. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fred Nutting. He is survived by his son, Charles Robert "Rip" Nutting of Macon; sister, Toni (Randall) McKie of Boynton Beach, Florida; granddaughter, Casey Sams of Warner Robins; two nieces and a nephew. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
