Forsyth . . . Dave JR Wright died Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Wright, the son of the late Clifford Wright and Nancy McDaniel Wright was born August 3, 1934, in Meriwether County, Georgia. His son, Dave Clifford Wright, preceded him in death. He was retired from Local 926 and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam. Mr. Wright was a Mason and Shriner. Survivors include his ex-wife, Katherine S. Wright of Forsyth, children, Rick (Becky) Wright of Twiggs County, Cathy Lynn Sheppard of Brooks, Georgia and Laura Cagle of Forsyth, brothers, Raymond (Ann) Wright and Robert Wright of Smiths Station, Alabama, twenty grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
