Shirley Ann Bowen Yarbrough Forsyth . . . Shirley Ann Bowen Yarbrough, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died Sunday, April 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Century Nelson Methodist Church Cemetery, Pike County, Georgia. The family will greet friends at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, until the hour of the funeral at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Yarbrough, the daughter of the late Cornelius Johnson Bowen and Mamie Lee Rice Bowen was born August 14, 1932, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was retired from FAA. Survivors include her husband, Marvin C. Yarbrough, Sr. of Forsyth, children, Yvonne (Ronnie) Joiner of Temple, Georgia, Marvin C. (Marty) Yarbrough, Jr. of Forsyth and Melissa (Buddy) Laney of Powder Springs, Georgia, five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
