Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.Mrs. Amerson, the daughter of the late Andrew W. Hensley and Bonnie Marie Watkins Wright was born December 6, 1927, in Chattooga County, Georgia. Her husband, William Melton Amerson Sr., preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Shirley Ann Wilday of Macon, Marsha Elaine (Roy) Hubbard of Gray, Mary Freeman of Forsyth, Kathy Louise (Ricky) Griffin of Macon and William M. (Pam) Amerson, Jr. of Lizella, sister, Nell Wright of Forsyth, half-brothers, Mitchell Hensley and Robbie Hensley, thirteen grandchildren, approximately thirty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements
