James Carlton Lee Forsyth . . . James Carlton Lee died Sunday, April 7, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061. Dr. H. Darrell Watson will officiate. There will be no visitation but the family may be contacted at the residence, 15 Fern Drive, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. Mr. Lee, the son of the late Roy Lee and Eunice Stripling Lee, was born April 30, 1929, in Geneva, Florida. He was employed as an independent insurance adjuster. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and a gun enthusiast. Survivors include his wife, Sandra C. Lee of Forsyth, daughter, Kelley (David) Butler of Grovetown, Georgia, brothers, Donald (Teddie) Lee of Albany, Georgia and David (Dale) Lee of Dothan, Alabama, grandchildren, Bonnie, Benjamin and William Butler. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to donor’s favorite charity. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
