C. M. Millwood
Forsyth . . . C. M. Millwood died Thursday, March 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Ted Keen will officiate. The family will greet friends Saturday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the funeral.
Mr. Millwood, the son of the late Monarch and Cora Ethridge Millwood, was born September 18, 1927, in Morgan County, Georgia. He was retired owner and operator of Millwood Brothers, Inc. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II. Mr. Millwood was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, a Mason and a member of Scottish Rite.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Stuart Millwood, children, Deborah (Donald) Cochran and Steve (Lee) Millwood, sisters, Eloise Roberts and Gloria Travis, brother, Charles (Dale) Millwood, all of Forsyth, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Ann Walton and Bernice Zellner for their excellent care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice Care Options, 486 New Street, Macon, GA 31201 or to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1671 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth, GA 31029.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
