Minnie Bentley Adkins Forsyth . . . Minnie Belle Bentley Adkins, 92, a former resident of Vineville Christian Towers passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in the Irwinton Masonic Cemetery, Irwinton, Georgia. Reverend Raymond Steinkamp will officiate. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., on Saturday at the funeral home and immediately after the service. Mrs. Adkins, the daughter of George Amos Bentley and Amanda Smith Bentley, was a native of Wilkinson County. She was a member of Log Cabin Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday School and the Ramblers. Mrs. Adkins, the wife of the late James Thomas Adkins, will be missed very much by her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Jack McNeal, her granddaughter and great grandchildren. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of Heritage Healthcare of Forsyth for their excellent care and compassion. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
