Betty Lail Teems Forsyth . . . Betty Lail Teems died Sunday, March 10, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private. Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends after the service at the funeral home. Betty was born July 30, 1951, in Taylor County, Georgia. She was a retired waitress from Waffle House. Her daughter, Candy Pitts, her father, Charles Lail, brother, Ward Lail and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Pitts preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Jack Pitts, Jr. of Dawson, GA and James (Heather) Register of Forsyth, mother, Doris Lail of Dawson, GA, sisters, Janice Landin of Yatesville, Donna Bailey of Bronwood, GA and Paula Lail of Albany, brothers, Calvin Lail of Sylvester and Billy Lail of Dawson, grandsons, William and Cody Pitts and several nieces and nephews. The family requests no flowers and suggests donations to favorite charities.
