Myrtice Edge Herndon Forsyth . . . Myrtice Edge Herndon passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Brian Moore will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Mrs. Herndon, the daughter of the late John Thomas Edge and Eyleen Bowden Edge Jackson was born October 7, 1914, in Monroe County, Georgia. Her husband, Cullen Herndon and her son, James Kenneth Herndon preceded her in death. She was a wife, homemaker, mother and friend. Mrs. Herndon was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter in law, John Thomas and Joyce Herndon of Warner Robins, sister, Nita Smith of Forsyth, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to their favorite charity. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
