Katherine Cochran Juliette . . . Katherine Cochran died Sunday, February 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Juliette United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends at 1:30 p.m. until the hour of the funeral at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Cochran, the daughter of the late Willie Eugene Waits and Essie Belle Collins Waits, was born March 8, 1927, in Butts County. Her husband, Curtis Wilson Cochran preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Tommy (Sue) Cochran of Savannah, Donald (Deborah) Cochran of Forsyth and James (Christy) Cochran of Warner Robins, sisters, Virginia Tate Turner of Hillsboro and JoAnne Gable of Acworth, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Juliette Baptist Church, 12670 Hwy 87, Juliette, GA 31046. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
