Jimmy Rayford Daniel Forsyth . . . Jimmy Rayford Daniel died Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Danny Parker will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Daniel, the son of the late Walter Lee Daniel, Sr. and Annie Laura Hickman Daniel was born April 4, 1934, in Waynesboro, Georgia. He was retired owner and operator of Daniel Backhoe Service and a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. Mr. Daniel was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Forsyth. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Daniel of Forsyth, children, Ray Daniel of Macon, Beverly (Billy) Menger of Charleston, South Carolina and Becky (Eric) Osborne of Cleveland, Tennessee, sister, Alice (Louis) Torrens of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 355 Trane Drive, Knoxville, TN 37919 or to Mable White Memorial Baptist Church Television Ministry, 1415 Bass Road, Macon, GA 31210. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
