James Stewart White, Sr.

James Stewart White, Sr. Forsyth . . . James Stewart White, Sr. died Saturday, January 12, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at First Baptist Church. Burial will be private. Dr. H. Darrell Watson will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Mr. White, the son of the late Dana Butler White and Reetha Irene Smith White was born February 13, 1931, in Fish Springs, Tennessee. He was a retired painting and drywall contractor and was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nettie Sue “Pat” White of Forsyth, children, Pat (Jim) Woods of Forsyth, Lori (James) Kegley of Butler, Tennessee, James S. (Preetha) White, Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee, step-son, Ronald Sutton of Orlando, Florida, brother, Jack White of Mishawaka, Indiana, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to First Baptist Church 95 West Morse Street, Forsyth, GA 31029. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
