Nathan H. Bell, Jr.
Forsyth . . . Nathan H. Bell, Jr. died Friday, November 30, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Darrell Corbin will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Bell, the son of the late Nathan H. Bell Sr., was born March 10, 1939, in Peachtree, Alabama. His wife, Emma Jean Bell preceded him in death. He was a retired boilermaker with Local Union 26, Savannah, Georgia and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his children, Donald Bell of Florida, Callie Bell of New Mexico, Sheila Bell of New Mexico, Patty Johnson of Forsyth, Stacey Curry of High Falls, Billy Curry of Forsyth and Len Curry of McDonough, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Compassionate Care Hospice, 4931 Mercer University Drive, Suite 1 A, Macon, GA 31210 or to the American Lung Association.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
