Martha Stella Garr Logan Macon . . . Martha Stella Garr Logan passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery in Forsyth. The Reverend Rex Odom will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Mrs. Logan, the daughter of the late Webb James Garr and Bessie Waldrep Garr, was born February 22, 1937, in Forsyth, Georgia. Her husband, William David Logan, Jr. preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Mary Persons High School and received an Associate Degree from Young Harris College. Mrs. Logan was retired from the Macon Telegraph and was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church (now Heritage UMC). Survivors include her children, Cele (Chuck) Minshew of Macon, Sunnee Glenn of Macon and David (Lena) Logan of Jacksonville, Florida and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Fairview United Methodist Church, c/o Mollie Davis, 442 Sunset Circle, Forsyth, GA 31029 or to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
