VIEW TRIBUTELane Rainwater Lizella . . . Lane Rainwater went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church, 5046 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, Georgia, with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Terry Sark will officiate. The family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of the funeral at Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Rainwater, the son of the late Howard Dempsey and Lavelle Noe Rainwater, was born April 6, 1943, in Macon, Georgia. He was retired owner and operator of Duraclean of Macon. Mr. Rainwater was the bass singer for Calvary’s Way. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Rainwater of Lizella, children, Sherri Rainwater (Johnny) Hester of Lizella and Kenneth (Patricia) Rainwater of Knoxville, Georgia, sister, Margaret (Randy) Carr of Lizella, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
