Bernice Richards Barnesville . . . Bernice Richards died Saturday, September 29, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Danny Parker and Reverend Eugene Sellers will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Richards, the daughter of the late Lonar Hobart and Carrie Elanor Durden was born June 13, 1911, in Adrian, Georgia. She was a retired grocery store owner and was a member of Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Vivian Brown of Forsyth and brother, Jack L. Durden, of Toccoa, Georgia. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
