Tommie Edna Jackson Juliette . . . Tommie Edna Jackson died Saturday, September 29, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Jay Moore will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Jackson, the daughter of the late John Thomas Jackson and Mattie Mercer Jackson was born April 30, 1923, in Wayside, Georgia. She was retired from William Carter Company and was a member of East Juliette Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Walter Jackson of Juliette, daughters, Brenda (Jim) Goolsby of Griffin and Sheila (Jimmy) Smith of Forsyth, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
