Dollie Scaggs Lizella . . . Dollie Scaggs, formerly of Forsyth, died Saturday, August 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Mike McMullan will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Scaggs, the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth Pelt Williamson, was born February 5, 1919, in Forsyth, Georgia. Her husband, Woodrow Scaggs, preceded her in death. She was a retired textile worker and a member of Garden Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Terry Scaggs of Zanesville, Ohio, Ricky Scaggs of Cleveland, Ohio, Michael Scaggs of Zanesville, Ohio, Patricia Burnette of Forsyth, Debra Thomspon of Lizella and Brenda Hutchins of Roseville, Ohio, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
