Barbara B. Mills Bolingbroke . . . Barbara B. Mills died Saturday, August 4, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Forsyth City Cemetery. The Reverend David Falldine will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Mills, the daughter of the late Burnett Joseph Bing and Lillian Louise Winters Bing was born December 24, 1928, in Jacksonville, Florida. Her husband, John Roy Mills, Jr., preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Stetson University, receiving her Master’s Degree from Mercer University. Mrs. Mills was a retired school teacher with thirty nine years of service, having taught in the public school system and also at Monroe Academy. She was a member of Forsyth First Baptist Church and a member of Merry Hearts. Survivors include her children, Karen (Ken) Farr of Eatonton, Kathy (Jim) McGrath of Conyers and Kim (Frank) Mosely of Warner Robins, brothers, Joe (Dodie) Bing of Jacksonville, Florida, Dan (Pat) Bing of Knoxville, Tennessee and Jack (Julia) Bing of Charlotte, North Carolina and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
