Paul Wayne Christensen Murfreesboro, Tennessee . . . Paul Wayne Christensen died Thursday, July 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Christensen, the son of the late Paul Leslie Christensen and Pauline Esta Couch Christensen was born June 21, 1946, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a disabled veteran of the United States Army, having served during Vietnam, and the Gulf War,he was also a retired mechanical engineer. Survivors include his children, Paul Wayne, II, Tamlyn Colleen, and Jennifer Dawn of Georgia, sister, Margaret Rezek of Jonesboro, brother, Brad Christensen of Forsyth, several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Disabled American Veterans, Attention: Gift Processing, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
