Mrs. Oliver, the daughter of the late Sam Burton Steptoe and Velma Lee Edge Steptoe was born July 15, 1942, in Soperton, Georgia. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, John Wayne Oliver, son, Terry Clark, brother, Jimmy Steptoe, sister, Marilyn Graham, stepdaughters, Donna Shipman and Sonya Stewart, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
