John L. Bray Forsyth . . . John L. Bray died Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia. The Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Bray was born May 2, 1928, in Marietta, Georgia. His wife, Tommie Jean Bray and his sons, Alfred Bray and Clayton Bray preceded him in death. He was a retired automobile mechanic and a veteran of the United States Navy. Survivors include his children, Beverly and Joe Cronan of McDonough, Patsy and Von Goulden of Flovilla and Clifford and Bonnie Bray of Forsyth, grandchildren, David Bray, Connie Cronan, Scott Cronan, Ashley Cronan, Leslie Paulk, Rebecca Bray, Jennie Bray, Andrea Kelley, Ryan Bray, great grandchildren, Marshall Bray, Austin Bray and Madi Paulk. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
